ASSISTANT HR (Non-Executive Category)

Location – Teejay Lanka PLC – Avissawella

We are looking for an Assistant HR to carry out/ handle the associate/ staff level payroll processes, maintain the quality standard of the documents, providing details to management, other departments & other required parties ensuring the flow of accurate information effectively in the company

The Job

Primary job role will be;

  • Processing monthly salary, reconciliation the salary details whilst rectifying any differences occurred in the system & process previous over time reports, no pay reports, Attendance allowance report & update/modify the system accurately to provide up to date documents to the departments.
  • Handle the payroll division by preparing the procedure report & forwarding to the Human Resources Manager
  • Maintain relationship with banks & other financial institutions by providing required documents effectively
  • Prepare Associate & staff “Dashboard Details”, Payroll details & over time report
  • Handle processes on requirement effectively such as monthly production incentive payment, festival advance, welfare loans, disturbance allowances of Executives & Assistant managers & special allowances
  • Liaise with Finance Department & work out the salary budget requirements of Associates/Staff
  • Ensure IHRMS/Hsenid is up to date and maintain 100% accuracy in the system.
  • Provide timely & accurate information to the management on HR related areas.

The Person

  • You should be a fully/ partly qualified in Human Resource Management or an equivalent Diploma in Business Management from a recognized institute. You should be IT literate, especially on MS Excel, possess task prioritization and time management capabilities, excellent communication skills, good inter-personal skills and must be able to deal with multi — disciplinary internal and external teams. You should also be an excellent team player. Prior experience in the Payroll division will be an advantage.
