Assistant Commercial Manager
Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC operates with the vision to be the market leader in elevating and enriching lives in Sri Lanka.
The position holder will be responsible for the sourcing and procurement function consisting of sourcing, rate negotiations, purchasing, vendor selection and evaluation within the policies/SOP of the company in order to ensure products and services of the optimal quality are procured whilst ensuring optimal cost benefits are obtained through cost savings.
Job Profile
- Identify, evaluate and develop better business opportunities/suppliers/products for improved growth.
- Manage local, overseas suppliers and factories to ensure desired products are timely delivered at the most appropriate price.
- Manage strategic sourcing, Commercial operations and logistics to maximize operational and cost efficiencies.
- Negotiate and contract agreements, prices, quality and other terms.
- Prepare various MIS reports with respect to commercial operations.
Personal Profile
- A minimum of 03 years' experience handling a similar role.
- A Degree in Management/Science or Diploma in Supply and Materials Management (ISMM).
- Fluent in English. Proficiency in Chinese will be added advantage.
- Knowledgeable on industry trends and best practices.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
