We are on the lookout for a professional, dynamic and dependable individual with an outgoing personality to join our team for the role of Finance and Admin Officer

The ideal candidate would be expected to perform the following duties:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Preparing and updating budgets and event profitability reports for each event Coordinate the yearly Audit
  • Preparation and submission of monthly statutory payments
  • Preparation and record keeping of cheques and invoices and process bank deposits
  • Following up on membership payments and maintaining up to date records on payments outstanding
  • Educational Qualifications and Experience;
  • Should possess full or part qualification from CIMA/CA/ACCA or equivalent qualification Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accountancy
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in similar capacity
  • Strong analytical skills and report writing skills with a high degree of integrity
  • Identify and address discrepancies
  • Updating the membership database on a regular basis and circulating among the team
  • Keeping track on the availability of the funds and emailing monthly forecast with expected income vs. expenses for each month to the Operations Manager
  • Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable
  • Keeping a detailed list of all files and records and maintain a proper filing system with index Flag deadlines and action points to Directors and the Operations Manager
  • Liaising with the relevant stake holders pertaining to all financial matters of the Chamber
  • Maintaining records of staff recruitments, confirmations, resignations and leave management Coordinate all admin work at the Chamber
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting standards and established rules & regulations
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and be able to meet deadlines
  • Excellent command in written and verbal communication in English
  • Should be able to execute responsibilities independently
  • Knowledge in International Business Relations and/or Business Partnership Management skills would be added advantage
