Your Mission:

As the Head of Brand Marketing, you’ll take the reins of our strategic branding initiatives to develop and support the company’s branding policy, objectives and strategy. You will work closely with a team of Brand Managers to craft global and market-specific brand strategies. You’ll collaborate closely with the global communications team to establish, develop and finetune marketing communications. Identifying trends and driving product development programmes that resonate in markets will also be part of your responsibility.

Who We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a powerhouse of a professional with:

  • Global Expertise: At least 10 years of management experience handling global or national brands, ideally in international markets.
  • Brand & Communication Savvy: Proven experience in brand and communication management, identifying branding opportunities, and driving impactful campaigns.
  • Creative & Analytical Skills: A “strong right brain and left brain” thinker who can independently develop compelling concepts, campaigns and promotions without relying on external resources, while using smart data for decision making.
  • Trend Awareness: Up-to-date knowledge of international branding trends, marcom tools and cutting-edge online/offline strategies, including for tactical campaigns.
  • Leadership Abilities: Strong analytical skills, above-average educational qualifications, and the ability to guide internal and external creative and research teams with precision.
  • Vision & Adaptability: The capability to understand our company’s strengths and philosophy while driving innovation, improvement and growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and implement Dilmah’s branding policy and global strategy.
  • Partner with Brand Managers to craft tailored brand strategies for diverse markets.
  • Drive marketing communications with the global communications team, ensuring alignment and excellence.
  • Identify new trends, media and promotional opportunities to amplify brand presence.
  • Inspire and direct internal and external teams to deliver world-class results.

Dilmah Head Office, Colombo, Sri Lanka (Overseas candidates are welcome to apply if willing to relocate).
