The leading importer and wholesaler of automotive spare parts in Sri Lanka is currently on the search for talented and energetic young individuals to fill the following vacancy:

WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS MANAGER

Qualification & Requirements:

  • Diploma in Store management or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in the Motor Spare Parts industry will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum work experience 10 Years and executive level 03 years post qualifying experience in the field of Stores/Warehouse in a reputed organization.
  • Ability to produce accurate quality work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines and competing demands.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
  • Outstanding negotiation and consultative sales skills.
  • Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes. Male Candidates should be between the age of 30 and 50 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organizing warehouses with existing infrastructure.
  • Motivating the store's team to meet company objectives by training and mentoring staff.
  • Training and overseeing new staff.
  • Manage day-to-day store operations.
  • Ensuring store compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Undertaking store administration duties such as managing store budgets and updating financial records.
  • Monitoring inventory levels, ordering new items and overseeing store efficiency.
  • Analyzes and takes action with the store team to achieve and maintain stock levels which maximize selling and minimize reductions.
  • Oversees stocks organization based on company best practices.
  • Supervises stock counting processes, coaching team on stock accuracy and retagging procedures.
  • Take appropriate follow-up with the management team to provide consistent results that promote a strong customer offer.
  • Responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Delivering excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
