The leading importer and wholesaler of automotive spare parts in Sri Lanka is currently on the search for talented and energetic young individuals to fill the following vacancy:
WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS MANAGER
Qualification & Requirements:
- Diploma in Store management or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in the Motor Spare Parts industry will be an added advantage.
- Minimum work experience 10 Years and executive level 03 years post qualifying experience in the field of Stores/Warehouse in a reputed organization.
- Ability to produce accurate quality work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines and competing demands.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
- Outstanding negotiation and consultative sales skills.
- Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes. Male Candidates should be between the age of 30 and 50 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organizing warehouses with existing infrastructure.
- Motivating the store's team to meet company objectives by training and mentoring staff.
- Training and overseeing new staff.
- Manage day-to-day store operations.
- Ensuring store compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Undertaking store administration duties such as managing store budgets and updating financial records.
- Monitoring inventory levels, ordering new items and overseeing store efficiency.
- Analyzes and takes action with the store team to achieve and maintain stock levels which maximize selling and minimize reductions.
- Oversees stocks organization based on company best practices.
- Supervises stock counting processes, coaching team on stock accuracy and retagging procedures.
- Take appropriate follow-up with the management team to provide consistent results that promote a strong customer offer.
- Responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
- Delivering excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
