Job Description
As an integral part of the team, the Quality Assurance Executive helps define and carry out appropriate tests and inspections to confirm a product's compliance with quality standards. Inspecting incoming materials and documenting test results are also important parts of the job.
Responsibilities
- Perform incoming goods inspections. Inspect products by confirming specifications, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.
- Identify problems regarding the quality of the products and make recommendations to Procurement Manager.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste, input data into the quality database, and plot test results on a graph.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards, procedures, and legal regulations.
- Ability to meet quality standards such as ISO 9001.
Requirements
- Ability to analyze, document, and report research results.
- Basic math, communications, and interpersonal skills required..
- Promote process improvement and be a team player.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Attention to detail and quality of work are essential.
- Prior experience required.
