We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Group Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our group. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, hospitality industry experience, and the ability to provide insights that drive profitability and operational efficiency.
Senior Accountant/Group Accountant
- Managing accounts operations including comprehensive accounting processes, strategic budgeting and effective cashflow management to ensure sufficient liquidity for day-to-day operations while optimizing the use of funds.
- Prepare and deliver timely, accurate, financial reports to the Directors and Senior Management.
- Provide financial insights for decision making, analyze financial performance, identify cost optimization opportunities, support organizational financial planning.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant financial laws, regulations and reporting standards.
- Monitor each company’s revenue streams, room rates, and occupancy trends to optimize financial performance.
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls to prevent fraud and ensure financial accuracy.
- Liaise and maintain strong relationships with banks, external auditors and related bodies.
- Possess a bachelor's degree in accounting or professional qualification in accounting (CA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Minimum of six years industry experience and minimum of two years in similar capacity.
