Role Description
We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic IT team based at our Head Office in Lami. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other Software Engineers to ensure software systems are developed in alignment with established designs and architectural standards. This position reports directly to the Manager Software Delivery and will involve a range of responsibilities, including:
- Design, plan, and develop software solutions based on industry and business requirements.
- Collaborate in project teams to design, code, test, and implement moderately complex software programs.
- Lead small to mid-sized projects or components of larger initiatives.
- Define and implement rigorous testing procedures to ensure quality and reliability throughout the development lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, report to management, identify risks or roadblocks, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Maintain and enhance existing software systems.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years' experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
- Proven track record in developing web applications in a leadership or key contributing role.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET, particularly ASP.NET, MVC, React, REST, and SOAP.
- Expertise in one or more of the following technologies: .NET, C#, UI frameworks, XML, database technologies (T-SQL, PL-SQL), Oracle APEX and spatial technologies.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and teamwork skills; must be effective in a collaborative project environment.
- Well-developed soft skills and a proactive attitude.
