WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
Wemara Construction (Pvt) Ltd is an industry leader with over 4 decades of experience in Engineering, Design and Construction with CIDA C3 grading and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standard Certification.
We are looking for a young, dynamic, self-motivated, and energetic individual to join our team to work at our head office in Colombo.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather and monitor financial data
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Budgeting & forecasting
- Manage tax payments
- Organize internal audits
- Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
- Handling banking relationships
- Check and analyze payments
- Liaise with external auditors & IRD
QUALIFICATIONS
- Be below 35 years of age
- Qualified/ Passed finalist CA or equivalent
- Proven work experiance as a Financial Accountant or similar role
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Accounting software
- In-depth understanding of financial reporting and accounting regulations
- Time-management abilities & Confidentiality
- A graduate from a recognized university will be an added advantage
- A member of National Construction Association of Sri Lanka (NCASL)
