Manager/ Assistant Manager - Information Technology & Digital
Gaia Greenenergy Holdings is a Sri Lankan renewable energy development company that is working with local stakeholders and international partners on innovative solutions to implement large-scale renewable energy projects - including rooftop solar PV, ground mounted PV, floating solar plants, and pumped storage solutions. The company was established in March 2021 and is currently active in multiple regions in Sri Lanka and has cultivated strong local relationships. The focus is on rapid implementation of proven, bespoke solutions factoring the needs of the community whilst exploring the full extent of renewable energy and storage technologies available globally. Gaia intends to be at the forefront of innovation in the sector.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications systems.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the security, reliability, and integrity of data and systems.
- Lead and supervise a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and requirements, providing technical expertise and support to help achieve their goals.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts, evaluating and selecting third-party solutions and services as needed.
- Prepare and present reports, updates, and recommendations to senior management, conveying ITrelated information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Qualification:
- Bachelor's/ Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years experience in IT management, with a track record of successfully leading IT teams and projects.
- Strong technical knowledge across multiple IT domains, including hardware, software, networking, security, and cloud computing.
