Senior Quality Assurance and Application Support Engineer/Quality Assurance Engineer - IT

  • Provide application support to branches/Departments on Core Banking System and other applications/modules used by the bank.
  • Quality assurance of all new software applications/upgrades/modules and system patches.
  • Prepare user guides on all new applications/modules and all other related documents
  • Ability to do documentation on banking system projects.
  • Ability to train users on various systems/new modules.
  • Update the job knowledge by researching on new technology by participating in relevant training programs.
  • Implement new modules in core banking system by going through the system manuals
  • Comply with all the quality assurance industry best practices while carrying out the quality assurance activities. (Creation of test cases, Test plans etc.)

The Person

  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in Branch Banking (Operations and Credits).
  • Should be project oriented and ability to work as a project team member.
  • Should be digital savvy and be updated with the current trends.
  • Fair knowledge on MS Office packages (especially on MS word, Power Point and excel).
  • Full or part qualification in banking/IT or any other related qualification from a reputed professional body.
