Associate Manager - Quality Assurance

GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Reporting to Quality Assurance Manager to assist in managing BP quality process, mainly accountable for management of quality in all process of the body protection process of ATL covering material incoming, process quality assurance, ensure full regulatory and management compliance to all required internal and international standards. Position requires understanding of ISO9001, PPE Directive and other standards requirements specific to Industrial products (Eg. ANSI & EN Standards).

RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Deputize for the QA Manager in his absence, and hold management review meetings covering all the inputs, outputs and resources needed for corrective action.
  • Maintain Statistical Analysis for all areas, using graphs, charts, in line with the sites strategic objectives, and targets.
  • Review non-conformities for trend analysis, and report on preventative & corrective actions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify training needs of employees in all aspects of Quality Management and maintain a comprehensive training record database.
  • Verify and validate the Quality Management system including in accordance with current practices being implemented, maintain records for each.
  • Ensure quality records are in place related to quality management systems, and updated as required.
  • Monitor customer complaint (Internal & External) track product wise, prepare relevant reports (QA meeting, KPI ...etc.)
  • Monitor online Quality Inspections and Final Release, update Production Management on areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with functional managers to investigate and resolve quality issues arising through customer complaints or internal problems and recommend to the management any procedures or method need to be introduced or corrected.
  • Participate in Annual Audits
  • Involve actively in quality management new initiatives to ensure that quality of products to satisfy customer & customer needs.
  • Prepare CRI, Validation procedure & relevant reports combined with production, R&D, Technical team. Support to develop new product specification for new developments & maintain it. When updating the quality system, there is a need to liaise the certification body and implement the relevant actions for PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 Module D. When changing product or technical file, there is a need to liaise the person in charge of Ansell to implement the relevant actions with the certification body for PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 Module B, while liaise the certification body and implement the relevant actions for PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 Module D.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Qualification, Knowledge and experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Science stream or any other relevant field.
  • Fair knowledge in statistical quality control methods.
  • Excellent English, written and spoken
  • More than 3 years post qualifying experience in similar capacity.
