ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a passionate and wellness-focused Yoga & Fitness Instructor to join our Spa & Wellness team. Reporting to the Spa Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional yoga, fitness, meditation, sound healing, and wellness experiences for our guests while supporting the resort's overall wellness initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct yoga, fitness, meditation, mindfulness, and sound healing sessions for guests.
- Deliver personalized and group wellness activities based on guest needs and fitness levels.
- Ensure all sessions are safe, engaging, and delivered according to brand standards.
- Maintain knowledge of wellness programs, facilities, packages, and promotions.
- Create engaging wellness experiences and provide excellent guest service.
- Promote wellness activities and packages to support departmental revenue.
- Maintain high standards of grooming, hygiene, safety, and professional conduct.
- Keep updated with the latest wellness trends and techniques.
- Complete required reports and administrative duties accurately and on time.
- Support the Spa Manager in achieving operational and quality objectives.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and resort standards.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2–3 years' experience in yoga, fitness, or wellness, preferably in a luxury resort.
- Recognized Yoga Instructor certification; fitness certification is an advantage.
- Experience or certification in meditation and sound healing is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of yoga, fitness, mindfulness, and wellness practices.
- Excellent communication and guest engagement skills.
- Passion for holistic wellness and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Good English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
- Maldives or luxury resort experience is preferred.
- Positive, flexible, proactive, and team-oriented approach.
