Roofmart (Pvt) Ltd, established in 2004, is a leading steel building construction and manufacturing company with operations in Kurunegala, Matara, and Colombo. We specialize in high-quality roofing, cladding, structural steel, and fencing solutions across Sri Lanka. We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Production Planning Executive to join our growing team and support our manufacturing operations.
PRODUCTION PLANNING EXECUTIVE - KURUNEGALA
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and implement production plans to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Stores, and Sales teams to optimize production schedules.
- Monitor daily production progress and ensure adherence to production targets.
- Analyze production capacity, material availability, and workforce requirements for efficient planning.
- Prepare and maintain production reports, schedules, and planning records.
- Track inventory levels of raw materials and coordinate replenishment requirements.
- Ensure effective utilization of resources to minimize wastage and maximize productivity.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs.
- Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems and generate management reports as required.
Job Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Production Management, Industrial Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Production Planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory management, and scheduling techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Applicants living within 20–30 km of the work location will have an added advantage
