The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) is the world's largest and most diverse environmental network, bringing together governments, civil society organisations and experts to advance nature conservation and sustainable development. Founded in 1948 and headquartered in Switzerland, IUCN has around 1,000 staff across more than 50 countries and a global membership of over 1,300 organisations. By combining scientific expertise, local knowledge and collaborative partnerships, IUCN develops practical solutions that protect biodiversity, restore ecosystems and improve people's well-being.
IUCN Sri Lanka works with government, civil society and private sector partners to promote sustainable natural resource management and biodiversity conservation across the country. To support the effective implementation of its programmes and projects—including the Global Fund for Coral Reefs (GFCR)-supported Sri Lanka Coral Reef Initiative—IUCN is recruiting professionals who will contribute to efficient financial management, project delivery, donor reporting, stakeholder coordination and the achievement of conservation outcomes through strong operational and administrative support.
