SENIOR EXECUTIVE – SALES & MARKETING (02 Positions)
Location: Parkland Building, Colombo 2
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for Air, Sea and Land Freight services.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in Air Freight, Sea Freight, Customs Brokerage, Transportation and Logistics solutions.
- Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents and transport providers to negotiate competitive freight rates.
- Maintain freight tariffs, pricing databases and quotation records.
- Support tenders, RFQs, customer proposals and contract pricing.
- Coordinate with Sales and Operations teams to ensure pricing accuracy and operational feasibility.
- Handle customer inquiries relating to freight rates, transit times, routing and logistics solutions.
- Assist in shipment coordination, documentation follow-up and customer communication.
- Monitor shipment progress and coordinate timely resolution of operational issues.
- Analyse market trends, freight rates and competitor pricing to support commercial decisions.
- Prepare pricing reports, profitability analyses and other management reports.
- Perform additional commercial and freight forwarding responsibilities assigned by Management.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years' experience in Freight Forwarding, Commercial Operations or Customer Service.
- Sound knowledge of Air Freight, Ocean Freight and freight pricing structures.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with advanced MS Excel knowledge.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with freight forwarding software will be an added advantage.
