APIIT Sri Lanka, established in collaboration with Staffordshire University, offers British undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in Business Management, Computing/IT and Law.

To steer our expanding operations, we're looking for an Industry Liaison to strengthen the bridge between APIIT School of Computing and leading industry partners. This role is vital for securing tech focused internships and organizing workshops that build essential skills for our students. If you're proactive, resourceful, and excel in relationship-building, we'd love to meet you!

EXECUTIVE INDUSTRY LIAISON

ROLE PROFILE:

• Internship Development: Forge partnerships with tech companies to provide students with computing and IT internships aligned with their studies
• Workshop Coordination: Design and host industry workshops and events to prepare students with the latest skills and insights
• Partnership Management: Act as APIIT's representative at industry events, building and nurturing connections with computing professionals and organizations
• Impact Evaluation: Track, report, and improve initiatives to enhance student career readiness in the tech industry

PERSON PROFILE:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Education, Computing, or a related field
• 3-5 years in industry relations or partnership development
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with a commitment to student success
• Preferred knowledge in computing industry trends, and event planning expertise
