About the role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a team of local accountants.
- Setting up and optimizing AR/AP processes for efficient handling of finance functions across portfolio companies.
- Monitoring and reviewing statutory VAT and tax lodgements.
- Overseeing the preparation of month-end management accounts and board reporting packs.
- Preparing year-end financial statements and tax returns.
- Ownership of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Assisting with any ad-hoc requests from management.
About you
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Full member of a recognized accountancy institute such as ICASL, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Should have a minimum of three to four years of working experience in a similar capacity.
- Exposure to Xero would be an added advantage.
- Prior experience with Australian companies is preferable, but not necessary.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Strong attention to detail and investigative nature.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Should possess a good command of English.
