We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fitter with a minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering related operations to support LPG pipeline installations, LPG tank installations, and LPG pipeline maintenance activities. This role is vital in ensuring that all projects are carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise and coordinate day to day activities at LPG installation and maintenance sites.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, engineering specifications, and company procedures.
  • Monitor work progress, quality, and timelines to meet project deadlines.
  • Lead and guide site workers, contractors, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
  • Ensure proper usage and handling of tools, materials, and equipment at installation sites.
  • Support troubleshooting and provide practical solutions for on-site technical challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress reports, and safety checklists.
  • Monitor the expenditure incurred in fieldwork and handle related documentation and paperwork.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering related operations.
  • Experience in LPG or gas related pipeline projects will be an added advantage.
  • NVQ Level 4 in Mechanical / Industrial Fitting (or NVQ Level 3 with relevant field experience) from a recognized technical institution in Sri Lanka.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities simultaneously.
