KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee end-to-end HR functions and provide effective HR support across the organization.
- Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to management and employees on HR-related matters.
- Partner with business leaders across diverse SBUs to understand unique operational needs and deliver tailored HR solutions aligned with group-wide strategy.
- Manage recruitment, selection, manpower planning, and onboarding processes.
- Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, recognition, and organization culture initiatives.
- Coordinate performance management, confirmations, performance reviews, and improvement plans.
- Manage payroll activities to ensure accuracy, timely and compliant salary processing.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, analytics, and presentations to support management decisions.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, internal controls, labour laws, and statutory requirements.
- Manage employee relations and lifecycle activities, including grievances, promotions, transfers, and separations.
- Drive HR process improvements through HRIS and automation while supporting audits, documentation, and HR team development.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor's Degree in HRM, Business Management, or a related discipline, or a recognized professional qualification in HRM.
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Human Resources Management.
- Exposure to HR Business Partnering and working closely with business leaders/HODs will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, payroll, employee relations, and HR operations.
- Good understanding of Sri Lankan labour laws, statutory requirements, and HR best practices.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and reporting skills with proficiency in HR data analysis.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and English language skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; HRIS/HRMS experience will be an advantage.
- Proactive, results-oriented team player with strong stakeholder management, ownership, and accountability.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and time-management skills, with high professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
