VACANCIES (ON AN ASSIGNMENT BASIS)

Applications will be entertained from suitably qualified applicants for the following post at the University of Colombo.

Supervisor (Civil) on an Assignment basis

Minimum Qualifications

• National Certificate in Technology or equivalent qualifications with 3 years' experience may be obtained while following the NCT course.
• G.C.E. O/L Examination in 6 subjects at not more than two sittings with at least 5 years' experience as Supervisor in the relevant field in a Government, Local Government or State Corporation or a recognized Engineering Establishment.

• Age : between 18 and 45 years on the closing date of application
• Remuneration : A total remuneration of Rs. 950,751/-, payable in 12 equal monthly installments based on work completed
• Period of Contract : One year (Renewable, depending on the service requirements of the University)

GENERAL CONDITIONS

This appointment is on an assignment basis, initially for a period of one year. However, the University may consider extending the service of the selected candidate depending on satisfactory performance and the requirements of the university during the period of the contract.
