Tendering Executive / Junior Tendering Executive

Synergy Bio (Pvt) Ltd is a Sri Lankan scientific solutions company providing laboratory instruments, laboratory consumables, environmental solutions and laboratory equipment to government, private-sector, healthcare, research, food and environmental labs. We are looking for a highly organized and results-oriented Tendering Executive to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and monitor government and private-sector tender opportunities and prepare tender submissions, technical and commercial proposals, and related documentation.
- Coordinate bid submissions with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure timely and compliant tender responses.
- Prepare and review tender documents, quotations, and commercial terms in accordance with client requirements and company policies.
- Monitor tender deadlines and maintain tender calendars; ensure timely escalation of issues.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, product specialists, sales teams, and other stakeholders to collect information and ensure accuracy of submissions.
- Ensure compliance with government procurement policies and internal governance standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, Science, Engineering or related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in tendering, procurement, sales administration or related field.
- Good knowledge of Sri Lankan government procurement procedures; experience in public sector procurement will be an added advantage.
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Sinhala; Tamil would be an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
