The Faculty of Computing of Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology is the home of more than 190 academic staff and an ever-growing cohort of undergraduate and postgraduate students.

We are inviting highly qualified and dynamic individuals with a passion for teaching and research to join us as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Software Engineering.

Assistant Professor

Applicants must hold

• A four-year bachelor's degree in software engineering with 1st or 2nd class honours or
• A three-year bachelor's degree in software engineering with 1st or 2nd class honours or a pass in a four-year bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree at SLIIT Level 9 equivalent or above

and an earned doctoral degree in a closely related field.

Applicants should have at least six years of demonstrated competence in research, teaching and/or industry practice after the bachelor’s degree and a strong publication record in reputed research journals and conferences.
