Printcare Universal (Pvt) Ltd. is fully owned subsidiary of Printcare PLC, based in Kelaniya. As the Group's clientele as well as the manufacturing capacity and product range continues to expand geographically and exponentially with innovative products and new production sites, we are looking to strengthen our team with high caliber professional.

Production Manager

The Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing all production operations to ensure the efficient manufacture of products. The role focuses on improving productivity by applying industrial engineering principles, optimizing processes, maximizing resource utilization, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence, quality standards, and production targets.

The Role

• Plan, organize and supervise daily production activities to achieve production targets and customer delivery schedules.
• Develop and implement production plans in coordination with Sales, Planning, Pre-Press, Printing, Die-Cutting, Gluing and Dispatch departments.
• Apply Industrial Engineering (IE) techniques to improve productivity, reduce waste and optimize production processes.
• Monitor and improve machine utilization, labour productivity, and overall equipment effectiveness.
• Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard operating procedures (SOPs), standard times, and manpower requirements.
• Analyze production data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimize material wastage.
• Manage production costs by controlling material consumption, labour costs, and operational expenses.

The Person

• Degree or Diploma in the relevant field from the recognized University/Institution.
• Strong analytical and leadership skills.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a managerial position or a similar capacity within a printing, production or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with safety standards and compliance requirements.

Remuneration offered, which commensurate with the qualification and experience, will not be a constraint for the ideal candidates.
