VACANCY
Asst.HR Manager / HR Executive
Locati on: ACL Cables PLC Factory Complex, Batakettara, Madapath a, Piliyandala.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic HR Functions
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organisation’s vision, business objectives and people strategy.
- Lead talent acquisition, employee retention and succession planning initiatives.
- Manage performance management processes, including setting KPIs, performance evaluations and staff appraisals.
- Support organisational development, employee engagement and workplace culture initiatives.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs.
- Learning and development programs.
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with labour laws and recognised HR best practices.
Administrative HR Functions
- Maintain employee records, personnel files, attendance data and payroll-related documentation.
- Administer employment contracts, confirmations, promotions, transfers and employee separation processes.
- Ensure the efficient administration of HR operations and office-related activities.
- Coordinate employee welfare programmes and assist in grievance handling and disciplinary processes.
- Prepare HR reports, analyse workforce data and maintain accurate HRIS records.
- Draft official correspondence, reports, presentations and other HR-related documentation.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
- A minimum of five (05) years for Asst.HR Manager and three (03) years’ experience in Human Resources for HR Executive within the manufacturing sector.
- Exposure to Industrial Relations (IR), experience in career development and talent management will be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan labour laws, statutory compliance requirements and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working with an HR Information System (HRIS) will be a distinct advantage.
