We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven finance leader, to lead the company's finance function to support the growth strategy of the company, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer at our export processing centre.
GENERAL MANAGER – FINANCE
THE ROLE INCLUDES
- Directing the company's finance function and financial management, sound accounting, treasury and working-capital management.
- Establishing and maintaining robust financial controls, policies and systems to safeguard company assets, strengthen accountability, and manage financial and operational risk.
- Reporting and continuously improving financial and operational management information systems (MIS), delivering a reliable, integrated management reporting pack to key stakeholders for financial reporting, Group consolidation and effective decision making.
- Ensuring full compliance with tax matters, accounting standards, statutory obligations and applicable laws, and keeping abreast of developments across all aspects of financial, regulatory governance and macroeconomic environment.
- Providing business support and partnering with commercial and operational leadership through decision useful financial insight to optimize resource allocation and value creation across the value chain.
- Leading the consolidation of Group accounts across the company's operations and new overseas entities and preparing consolidated financial statements.
- Liaising and collaborating with cross functional teams including the Strategic Planning and Performance Management and Risk and Control departments to align business support and partnering with the delivery of the company's five-year growth strategy.
- Leading, developing and inspiring a high-performing finance team to achieve the company's growth objectives.
APPLICANT PROFILE
- A proven track record of more than 20 years of experience, with a minimum of 7 years in a senior role within an FMCG or food-manufacturing, export-oriented environment, with exposure to advanced best practices in financial control and reporting.
- Hands-on experience in group consolidation and the preparation of consolidated financial statements across multiple entities.
- An MBA or a Degree with an associate / fellow membership of ICASL or ACCA or CIMA.
- Prior experience in the tea industry, ERP implementation, finance-related AI and dashboard development and overseas working experience will be an added advantage.
- A proactive leader with strong work ethics and commendable organizing, interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
