Procurement Executive – MRO Operation (Head Office-Seeduwa)

Responsibilities
- Perform an effective Request for Quotation (RFQ) operation in a reasonable & transparent manner, to select best suitable suppliers for MRO items considering TCA, and execute them through POs, along with necessary terms & conditions as applicable.
- Initiate & fix purchasing info records, source list, quota arrangement & purchasing contracts as relevant, ensuring the validity of them, to support automation of the purchasing operation
- Support inventory controlling function in fixing inventory parameters based on the supplier Lead time, MOQ, pack sizes, and other required information
- Ensure the purchase orders are placed timely and accurately, and receive deliveries as committed by the suppliers, along with the compliance on quality & the specifications.
- Coordinate with cross functional teams and other external parties to fulfill company guidelines & the requirements of other policies & processes, like finance, tax, customs, legal, health & safety, etc.
- Contribute to formulate procurement strategies, and guidelines with the support of senior management, and launch them effectively.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Science & Finance or equivalent from a recognized university.
Experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role
Skills
- Fluency in English with excellent communication & negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent contract management skills.
