Human Resources Executive (Cum Departmental Secretary)

Location: Badalgama - Haycarb Manufacturing Facility

We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team at the Badalgama facility as a HR Executive (Cum Departmental Secretary). This role requires a proactive individual capable of handling both administrative and human resource functions effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes, including interview coordination and induction programmes
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS, ensuring a high level of confidentiality
  • Assist in employee relations, welfare, and engagement initiatives to support a positive work environment
  • Coordinate training and development activities and support performance management processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and labour regulations
  • Handle internal HR communications and general HR administrative functions
  • Provide secretarial support to the Factory Manager, including managing schedules, meetings, and correspondence
  • Prepare reports, maintain documentation and filing systems, and coordinate departmental communications and logistics

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in HR or administrative roles
  • Sound knowledge of HR practices and administrative procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • High level of confidentiality and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
