FIELD SUPPORT PRINTER TECHNICIAN

Job Profile:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair card printers and laser printers.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues and perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Replace faulty or worn-out components and ensure equipment is functioning efficiently.
- Provide customer training and guidance on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate service records and technical documentation.
- Demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills.
- Be a team player with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to completing tasks efficiently.
Qualifications and Skills expected:
- NVQ Level 4 or above or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institute.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in hardware technical support and IT repair.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Sinhala.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in MS Windows and Intel-based computer hardware.
- Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain card printers and laser printers.
- Willingness to visit customer sites to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair printers.
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, and technical support skills.
- Age below 40 years.
