PHARMACY STORES ASSISTANT

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Pharmacy / Pharmacy Assistant qualification or relevant healthcare qualification.
- Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy, retail pharmacy, or healthcare environment will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medical supplies, and inventory handling procedures.
- Ability to manage stock receiving, storage, and issuing processes accurately.
- Familiarity with pharmacy inventory systems and basic computer literacy.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Responsible, organized, and committed to maintaining high standards of pharmacy operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, inspect, and arrange medicines and medical supplies according to established procedures.
- Maintain accurate stock records, inventory levels, and expiry date monitoring.
- Issue medicines and supplies to pharmacy units and hospital departments as required.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for pharmaceuticals and medical items.
- Maintain documentation related to receiving, issuing, and inventory movements.
- Monitor near-expiry and expired items and coordinate necessary actions.
- Support pharmacists and pharmacy team members in daily operations.
- Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and pharmaceutical handling procedures.
- Ensure efficient and timely supply availability for patient care services.
