Puritas (Pvt) Ltd is a member of World of Hayleys and a fully owned subsidiary of Haycarb PLC, a leading environmental engineering company specialized in Water and Wastewater Purification, and Manufacturing of Value-added activated carbon products. Puritas is one of the leaders in providing water and wastewater treatment solutions in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. We have built over 500 treatment plants across Sri Lanka, Maldives, Thailand, Indonesia and Myanmar. The company is engaged in the provision of custom designed water and wastewater purification systems, community and municipal scale water supply and sewerage projects, water and wastewater consultation, and customized operation and maintenance contracts in the same capacity.
As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and technically strong professional to join our team in a senior technical capacity.
Senior Executive- Proposals, Process Management & R&D
Location - Puritas, Head Office, Sri Lanka
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth operation of laboratory functions and activities, maintaining relevant standards.
- Plan, supervise, and manage all testing & commissioning works within stipulated project timelines, and hand over completed projects to clients.
- Ensure training of client operating personnel upon successful commissioning and handover of plants.
- Develop the talents and skills of subordinates and peers to enhance competency in carrying out tasks and delegate work to key staff.
- Support the planning and design of treatment processes, finalizing optimized treatment systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, and for O&M activities.
- Carry out optimized costings for project proposals to meet the company's quality and financial objectives.
- Maintain ISO 9001 quality management systems and related documentation.
- Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by the Head of the Department.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in chemical & Process Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in water and wastewater treatment/ environmental engineering.
- Sound knowledge and hands-on experience in water and wastewater treatment processes, process design, testing & commissioning, trouble shooting and system optimization.
- Knowledge of laboratory operations, ISO 9001 quality management systems and relevant technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead teams and work effectively with clients, consultants and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent command of English and proficiency in MS Office.
