MANAGER – FINANCIAL REPORTING

The Manager – Financial Reporting will be responsible for the consistency, accuracy, and completeness of the consolidated financial statements of Sunshine Holdings PLC in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including the Companies Act, SLFRS, and relevant taxation requirements. The role will also be responsible for the compilation of the Company’s Annual Report. The job holder will provide advisory support to subsidiary finance teams on Group finance and accounting policies, annual budget preparation, and applicable reporting requirements, while reviewing business line budgets and preparing the consolidated Group budget. S/he will be accountable for the preparation and presentation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with SLFRS and applicable regulatory requirements, coordinating with internal and external auditors during audit processes, and staying updated on new and revised SLFRS requirements to provide timely guidance to Group finance teams.

PERSONAL PROFILE

• Member of CA Sri Lanka or ACCA
• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, with an MBA being an added advantage
• Minimum of two years’ managerial-level experience in a commercial establishment, along with at least two years’ experience in Audit and Assurance with a reputed audit firm
• Sound knowledge of SLFRS/LKAS, CSE Listing Rules, the Companies Act No 07 of 2007, taxation, and related statutory requirements in Sri Lanka
• Strong analytical, interpretation, presentation, and communication skills
