JOB PROFILE
- Draft, review, and manage a broad range of commercial and corporate agreements
- Support statutory and regulatory compliance in line with Sri Lankan legal requirements
- Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments relevant to the business
- Maintain legal records, filings, and documentation in an organized and compliant manner
- Monitor ongoing litigation and prepare internal status updates
- Liaise with external parties including company secretaries, registrars, and other authorities
- Support PPDA-related initiatives, including privacy notices, consent clauses, data-sharing agreements, and cross-border data assessments
- Work closely with business units to provide practical legal insights and support on operational matters
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- A recognized local or foreign law degree (LLB) with 5-7 years' post-qualification experience, preferably in corporate or commercial law
- Admitted as an Attorney-at-Law in Sri Lanka, with a valid practicing status
- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in MS Office, legal research databases, document automation tools, and collaboration platforms
- Adaptable and comfortable working with new legal-tech systems and tools
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and research skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
