Executive – Quality Assurance
We are hiring for the position of Executive – Quality Assurance. Location: Kalutara.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with established quality standards, procedures and specifications.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and audits throughout production processes.
- Identify quality issues, investigate root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with customer and organizational requirements.
- Maintain and analyze quality-related records, reports and performance indicators.
- Coordinate with production and other relevant departments to resolve quality-related issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to minimize defects, rework and quality-related costs.
- Conduct quality awareness and training programs for relevant employees.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality management systems, procedures and standards.
- Prepare and present quality performance reports and recommend improvement actions to management.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Quality Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Production Management or a related field.
- Professional qualification in Quality Management will be an added advantage.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in a quality-related role, preferably in the manufacturing/footwear/apparel industry.
- Good knowledge of quality management systems, quality tools and root-cause analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Good computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office.
- A proactive attitude with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.
