Assistant Manager - Accountant
Job Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, within agreed timelines.
- Conduct monthly variance analysis and provide management insights.
- Coordinate monthly inventory counts, investigate inventory variances, and ensure timely reconciliations.
- Review GL balances and perform Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts and projected financial statements.
- Prepare pre-order and post-order costing and profitability analysis.
- Prepare management reports and other ad-hoc financial analyses as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cost control, financial planning, and management decision-making.
- Assist in completing company Tax matters
Candidate Profile:
- Possess a degree or part qualification in CA, CIMA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Cost Accounting, Budgeting, and Forecasting
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Management Accounting and Taxation
- Hands-on experience working with ERP systems
- Exposure to Management Accounting and Cost Accounting within export-oriented manufacturing operations would be highly advantageous
- Previous experience in managerial functions, auditing, and accounting assignments, particularly within an audit firm, would be an added advantage.
