SENIOR QA ENGINEER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform manual and automated testing of modern web applications and Single Page Applications (SPAs).
- Review source code to identify bugs, performance bottlenecks, and code quality issues.
- Test REST APIs, backend logic, authentication, user permissions, and third-party integrations.
- Validate frontend quality, semantic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, databases, and responsive web experiences.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and QA workflows.
- Build automation processes for development, testing, and QA workflows.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues across frontend, backend, databases, servers, and integrations.
- Integrate automated testing into Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify opportunities to improve code optimization, application performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prevent defects and continuously improve software quality.
- Explore AI-powered tools and innovative approaches to enhance QA efficiency.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a technically strong Senior QA Engineer who goes beyond traditional testing to identify complex issues, review source code, and build intelligent QA automation.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of professional QA experience in modern web development environments.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, databases, and web technologies.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing, test automation, and SPA testing.
- Ability to review source code and identify technical issues beyond the user interface.
- Experience testing REST APIs, authentication, authorization, and system integrations.
- Familiarity with Git, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and technical documentation skills.
- A proactive mindset, adaptability, and willingness to take on new technical challenges.
