Senior Finance Specialist- Costing

The Group's diverse operations include wheat milling, flour production, manufacturing of packaging materials such as corrugated cartons, containers and bags, production of biscuits and snack foods, sale of rice and animal feed products, sale of electric cars and investment activities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain, and analyze cost accounting records and reports to ensure accurate tracking of production and operational costs.
- Monitor material, labor, and overhead costs to identify cost trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for savings.
- Conduct variance analysis by comparing actual costs against budgets and forecasts, and investigate significant differences.
- Develop and maintain standard costing systems and recommend cost control measures to improve operational efficiency.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes through cost estimates, financial analysis, and expenditure projections.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports highlighting key financial indicators and cost drivers.
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation and reporting, including inventory reconciliations and stock count management.
- Monitor inventory movement and identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess inventory for effective control.
- Support pricing, profitability analysis, and management decision-making through cost and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, audit requirements, and continuously improve costing processes and systems.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
