Assistant Manager / Manager

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team as Manager / Senior Manager – Finance, playing a key role in overseeing end-to-end finance operations across the asset management business, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong governance within a regulated financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end finance operations across the asset management business, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong governance.
- Lead the preparation and review of management accounts, financial reports, and key financial summaries for management and group reporting.
- Oversee company payments, cash flow management, and bank reconciliations, ensuring appropriate controls and approvals are in place.
- Provide leadership and guidance to finance and operations teams, ensuring efficient execution of day-to-day activities.
- Review and manage financial reporting, liquidity, cash flows, and investment-related accounting processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory, and tax requirements, including reporting to regulators and tax authorities.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, working closely with auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare financial insights, reports, and presentations for senior management, committees, and the Board.
- Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, controls, and reporting frameworks.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent) is preferred.
- 4-5 years of relevant experience, ideally within asset management, banking, insurance, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, regulatory reporting, and compliance in a regulated environment.
- Proven experience managing audits, financial reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with a hands-on and proactive approach.
