Logistics Officer (Dankotuwa)
Hemas Consumer Brands (Dankotuwa) is seeking a responsible and dynamic Officer – Logistics to support efficient receiving, storage, issuance, and inventory control of raw materials, spare parts, stationery, and consumables while ensuring accurate documentation and smooth warehouse operations.
- Inspect incoming raw materials, verify quantities/documents, and prepare accurate GRNs.
- Coordinate timely material issuance to production and sampling with QA/Laboratory.
- Monitor inventory, conduct stock counts, and support reconciliation activities.
- Manage GRNs and issuance of engineering spare parts, stationery, and consumables across manufacturing facilities.
- Process PRs and verify invoices for spare parts, stationery, and consumables.
- Monitor damaged, expired, rejected, and non-conforming materials and coordinate supplier returns.
- Maintain 5S, GMP, safety, warehouse standards, and audit compliance.
- Support Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse operations.
Who We Want
- Diploma/degree in Warehousing/Logistics Management.
- Minimum 6 months of working experience in a Warehouse, Logistics, Supply chain, or related role.
- Experience in the FMCG sector will be an advantage.
- Computer literacy with knowledge of SAP will be an advantage.
- Good communication, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership, adaptability, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work proactively and support smooth warehouse and supply chain operations.
