Lab Analyst /Junior Lab Analyst

Martin Bauer Hayleys (Pvt) Ltd is a joint venture between Martin Bauer Group, Germany and Hayleys PLC, Sri Lanka, with its head office in Colombo and factory located in Hatton. The company is engaged in manufacturing tea extract products mainly for export markets.

We are looking for energetic and self-motivated individuals to join our dynamic team at our factory in Hatton as Lab Analyst /Junior Lab Analyst.

Candidates Profile

• G.C.E. A/L in Biology, Mathematics, or Bio - Technology.
• Diploma in Food Technology, Quality Management, Chemistry, Laboratory Technology or a related field is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in a food testing laboratory or quality assurance environment is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of food analysis techniques, laboratory procedures, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Familiarity with food safety and quality management systems such as HACCP, ISO 17025, ISO 9001 or ISO 22000 is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a commitment to maintaining laboratory safety and cleanliness.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
• Candidates residing in the Central Province are preferred.
