Assistant Regional Service Manager (Service Centre - Kandy)
Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC operates with the vision to be the market leader in elevating and enriching lives. We are looking for a dynamic, result-oriented, and customer-focused professional to join our Service Operations team as Assistant Regional Service Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of Kandy Singer Service Center, providing leadership on service-related matters, and collaborating with Service Franchise Agents and Shops to ensure the delivery of high-quality and professional after-sales services and repairs.
Job Profile
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of customer service requirements while maintaining Singer service standards and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure high-quality repairs are carried out to minimize repeat repairs and provide product-related feedback to reduce warranty costs.
- Recruit, mentor, train, and develop staff and Service Franchise Agents to maintain high standards of customer service.
- Ensure the timely and accurate settlement of Service Franchise Agent bills and resolve staff and agent grievances through regular engagement.
- Manage resources, assets, budgets, and operational activities to achieve service targets and improve operating income.
- Identify process gaps, implement industry best practices, and introduce suitable technologies to improve productivity and service efficiency.
Personal Profile
- Degree/ Higher National Diploma in Engineering or Management or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role within the customer service field.
- Strong communication skills in Sinhala and English. Proficiency in MS Office will be an added advantage.
- Professional knowledge of electronics, electrical products, and related service operations.
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications, including Advanced Excel.
- Strong strategic thinking, customer service, leadership, teamwork, accountability, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
