Vacancies: Production Supervisor / QA Supervisor
Miami Exports, a garment manufacturing facility located in Pallekele, Kandy, invites dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented individuals to join our team for the following positions.
1. Production Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities to achieve production targets and delivery schedules.
- Monitor production line efficiency, productivity, and manpower utilization.
- Ensure smooth workflow and minimize production delays and wastage.
- Coordinate with Quality, Industrial Engineering, Cutting, and other relevant departments.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and performance of production employees.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and workplace procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Production Supervisor in the apparel or garment manufacturing industry.
- Good knowledge of garment production processes, line balancing, and production planning.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Candidates residing in or around Kandy will be preferred.
2. QA Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the Quality Assurance team and monitor quality performance throughout production.
- Ensure garments meet buyer specifications and required quality standards.
- Conduct in-line, end-line, and final quality inspections.
- Identify quality issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Production, Technical, and other relevant departments to minimize defects and rework.
- Maintain quality reports and ensure compliance with buyer requirements and company procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a QA Supervisor in the apparel or garment manufacturing industry.
- Good knowledge of garment inspection procedures, AQL standards, and defect analysis.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain high-quality standards and manage a quality team effectively.
- Candidates residing in or around Kandy will be preferred.
