Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Executive – Quality Assurance to support and maintain high standards of quality and food safety across FMCG manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of food safety standards, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements, with the ability to identify quality risks and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of quality management and food safety systems.
• Ensure compliance with FSSC, GMP, HACCP, Halal and SLS standards.
• Conduct quality inspections, audits and process monitoring activities.
• Identify quality issues and support effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain quality-related documentation, records and reports.
• Maintains production areas hygiene standard process control & wastewater management system.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
• Analyze quality data and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Production and other departments to maintain product quality and food safety.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in Food Science, Food Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Quality Management within an FMCG organization.
• Strong knowledge of FSSC, GMP, HACCP, Halal & SLS standards.
• Experience in the Biscuits / Confectionery industry will be a definite advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good computer literacy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English & Sinhala.
