JOB VACANCY: COOK / ALL-ROUND BUNGALOW STAFF
Ferncliff (Private) Limited, Nuwara Eliya
Ferncliff is a boutique bungalow in the hill country, hosting local and international guests. We are looking for a skilled, dependable cook to join our small team.
The Role
- Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for local and foreign guests, including Sri Lankan and Western dishes
- Plan menus, manage the kitchen, and maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Assist with housekeeping and general bungalow upkeep as needed
- Support the day-to-day running of the property and help ensure a warm, comfortable guest experience
Requirements
- Age below 40
- Currently residing in Kandy and willing to relocate to Nuwara Eliya
- Proven experience cooking in a bungalow or hotel for both local and foreign guests
- Flexibility and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks beyond the kitchen
- Honest, reliable, well-presented, and a good team player
- Basic English communication is an advantage
