MANAGER – QUALITY ASSURANCE
Based at Giritale
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall product quality coordination for the entire plant.
- Ensure all quality systems, processes and standards are implemented across all manufacturing stages.
- Coordinate with Fabric Inspection, RMW, PE, Engineering and other departments & ensure all quality related issues are resolved to meet customer requirements.
- Lead cross functional alignment for quality problem resolution.
- Approve quality readiness for style onboarding.
- Train, develop and evaluate quality team performance.
- Drive root cause analysis for critical defects and KPI failures.
- Set corrective actions and ensure sustainable improvements.
- Conduct daily, weekly and monthly quality review meetings.
- Escalate key issues to operational & quality functional leadership.
- Set departmental quality targets aligned with business and production plans.
- Evaluate performance of all quality sections & drive continuous improvement in quality KPIs.
- Conduct risk analysis for new brands and onboarding operations.
- Ensure customer expectations are embedded into factory processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Technology / Apparel Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering / Quality Management or related field.
- Professional certification in Quality Management (ISO 9001, Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt or higher) is an added advantage.
- 5–8 years of experience in apparel manufacturing quality assurance, preferably in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Strong experience in end-to-end quality management systems (cutting to final inspection/shipping).
- Experience in leading quality teams and cross-functional coordination in a production environment.
- Strong exposure to defect analysis, CAPA, audits, and continuous improvement systems.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, stitching operations, and workmanship standards.
- Expertise in Quality Management Systems (QMS), audit processes, and compliance requirements.
- Deep understanding of inspection systems.
