Senior Planning Executive

We are looking for a competent, result-oriented and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Production Planning Executive at our manufacturing facility in Lakshauyana Industrial Zone, Polonnaruwa.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and monitor daily, weekly and monthly production plans.
- Coordinate with Production, Sales, Stores, Procurement and Supply Chain departments to ensure timely production and delivery.
- Monitor production capacity, material availability, machine utilization and production efficiency.
- Analyse production performance and identify planning gaps to minimize delays and wastage.
- Monitor order fulfilment, production schedules and inventory requirements.
- Prepare production planning reports, dashboards and performance analyses.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Production Planning, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Management or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling and inventory control.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, advanced formulas, data analysis and dashboard preparation.
- Experience with ERP systems will be an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
