Executive / Junior Executive – Finance Operations & Taxation

Job Description
- Location : Wellpala, 60206 Pannala, North Western Province, Sri Lanka
- Experience: Minimum 3 – 4 years of experience in Finance Operations & Taxation
- Industry : Coconut related products manufacturing
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include reviewing the tax compliances of the companies in the group to ensure high level of compliance with tax laws.
- Obtaining tax registrations (VAT/CIT/Stam Duty, Tax Clearance, any other special approvals as and when required.
- Keep the relevant employees updated regarding the amendments to the Tax laws from time to time.
- Overlooking and checking the staff payroll along with the EPF/ETF/APIT calculations with the finance function.
- Supporting the respective company finance team on all prevailing Taxes.
- Attending to other tax related functions assigned by the management from time to time.
- Deal With Inland Revenue Department or other financial government bodies.
Qualifications / Required Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance Management from a recognized university or should be a passed in AAT/ Intermediate or cooperate level in ICASL.
- A professional qualification in Taxation from a recognized institute would be an added advantage.
- Should have minimum 3 – 4 years’ experience in similar capacity and overall.
- Excellent knowledge of Tax laws and other regulatory requirements, accounting, Tax compliance and custom laws.
- Should be a good team player who can work with multiple stakeholders.
