Junior Dispatch Manager – ANDIGAMA

Are you an outstanding team player with exceptional communication, decision-making, and coordination skills? We are seeking a skilled professional to step into the role of Junior Dispatch Manager at our outstation plant. You will play a key role planning, coordinating and overseeing all dispatch operations, ensuring timely delivery of finished goods to customers, buyers, and distribution centers while maintaining accuracy, compliance and cost efficiency. Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the dispatch team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Plan and coordinate dispatch schedules in line with production output and customer delivery timelines.
- Ensure all finished goods are properly packed, labeled, documented, and dispatched according to buyer requirements.
- Monitor vehicle loading/unloading and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain proper documentation including delivery notes, invoices, export/shipping documents, and system updates.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and merchandising teams to align dispatch plans with order requirements.
- Oversee inventory management of finished goods and ensure FIFO
- Implement and monitor security checks (seal control, gate pass system, etc.) for dispatches.
- Track and report dispatch performance, delivery accuracy, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, company SOPs, and statutory regulations.
- Develop and train the dispatch team to improve productivity and minimize errors.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an apparel industry.
- Relevant degree or diploma in a related field.
- Proven experience in stock handling, inventory control and team supervision.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration in a team-based environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in inventory management software
