We are a Leading Seafood Export Company, with our Head Office situated in Dankotuwa and Factories and Farms located across the North, North Western, Eastern and Southern Provinces.
n
With the rapid expansion of our company operations, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Finance Controller to take overall responsibility for financial management, reporting, controls, and compliance across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, management reporting, cost control, cash flow management, and accounting operations, while ensuring accurate and timely financial information to support strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
n
n- Deliver accurate monthly management accounts and consolidated group reporting on a tight close calendar, covering local and overseas entities.
n- Lead the year-end audit and the preparation of financial statements under SLFRS/IFRS.
n- Own working capital control: product costing, yield and inventory valuation across raw material, work-in-progress and finished goods, plus receivables, payables and daily cash flow forecasting.
n- Manage banking operations, trade finance facilities and lender reporting, including covenant and compliance certificates.
n- Ensure full tax and regulatory compliance (income tax, VAT, BOI, Customs, Exchange Control).
n- Maintain and strengthen internal controls.
n- Support budgeting and investor/board reporting.
n- Lead, coach and develop a finance team across multiple sites.

What we are looking for
n
n- A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACMA/CIMA or ACCA). A finance degree or MBA is an advantage.
n- 10 years+ of post-qualifying experience, including at least 3 years leading a finance operation. Experience in food manufacturing, food processing, FMCG or agribusiness is preferred, ideally in an export-oriented business.
n- Strong command of SLFRS/IFRS, group consolidation, process costing and inventory accounting for perishable products.
n- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel. Experience with multi-currency and foreign-entity reporting is a plus.
n- A hands-on, detail-driven leader who meets deadlines and is comfortable in a fast-growing, multi-site business.
