LOCATION - DUMMALASURIYA
PLANT MANAGER (READY MIX)
Requirements :
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ready-mix concrete plant operations or a similar production environment, with proven supervisory or management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Production Engineering, or a related field will be added advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of concrete production processes, batching systems, mix designs, and equipment.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills (verbal and written) are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire batching process from raw materials to loading trucks.
- Coordinate with dispatch and sales for efficient production runs and delivery.
- Supervise concrete testing, ensure mix designs meet standards (ISO/QCS), and monitor quality.
- Monitor raw material levels (sand, stone, cement, admixtures) and stock.
- Supervise operators, drivers, and plant employees.
- Schedule and oversee routine checks and maintenance for plant machinery.
- Address mechanical and operational issues quickly.
